This chart shows the cumulative weekly loss needed to lose say 100, 120, etc pounds in a year. To read the chart pick the column of the amount of weight you want to lose in one year. Then read down the column to the row containing the number of weeks since your surgery. Many people feel they are losing too slowly especially as they get further out from surgery. If your goal is 100 pounds in a year and at 12 weeks you have lost 42 pounds you are far ahead of the 23 pounds targeted for a smooth 100 pound loss in a year. So in other words don't panic!
